Sligo County Council are to run an environmental campaign to raise awareness about climate change.
The campaign entitled Green Aware Sligo will run over the next number of weeks and will run throughout the months of September and into October.
Ciarán Hayes is the Chief Executive of Sligo Council.
He says that Climate change has become the most important issue of our time, and along with the staff at Sligo County Council, they want to challenge the community to become more aware of the significance of the challenges that climate change will continue to bring about.
