Dromore West’s Keelan Kilrehill won a silver medal at Sunday’s Irish Life national senior, junior and even age group cross country championships at Abbotstown in Dublin.
The west Sligo athlete (pictured in black), running in the singlet of Moy Valley AC in Ballina, finished runner-up behind the impressive Darragh McElinney from Kerry, who retained the under 20 men’s title.

The senior men’s race was won by Tullamore’s Liam Brady, while Fionnuala McCormack claimed her ninth senior cross country title in the women’s race. Fionnuala’s sister, Una Britton, finished third in the same race.
