Families from across the north west are benefiting from a new childcare scheme which is providing subsidies.
After just three weeks from when applications were lodged to the National Childcare Scheme a total of 562 awards have been issued to families in Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon and Donegal.
Local general election candidate, Cllr Thomas Walsh is encouraging all parents in the region to apply directly for subsidies to meet the cost of quality early learning and care:
