Sligo scrumhalf Stephen Kerins will make his first Heineken Champions Cup start for Connacht in this Saturday’s vital Pool 5 game at home to French side Toulouse (Sportsground, 3:15pm).
The Carraroe man has been named in the starting line-up ahead of Caolin Blade who is among the replacements after nine consecutive starts for this province.
Kerins has featured as a replacement in the Champions Cup already this season – but this is his first start in the competition.
Connacht need to beat Toulouse to have any meaningful chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.
