Road safety works are due to take place in Ballymote.
Funding has been given for the works at the R293/R296 junction by Loftus Hall in the town with hopes the works will begin soon.
There will also be road resurfacing taking place along Main Street around the same time.
Local Fine Gael Councillor, Dara Mulvey, tells OceanFM News that people have raised concern over the speed of drivers at the busy junction.
