There are fears that the necessary restrictions imposed to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus could lead to an increase in domestic violence and abuse in various forms.
This could include not only physical abuse but also financial and emotional abuse.
Jamie Murphy, of the Sligo Traveller Support Group, says this is something that all people and all communities should be aware of.
