A man continues to be questioned in connection with the murder of Detective Garda Colm Horkan.
Books of condolence have been opened in Sligo, Ballymote and Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Stations.
It is intended that books of condolence from Garda stations from across the Country will be presented to the family of Detective Garda Colm Horkan.
The 49 year old was shot dead with his own gun in Castlerea Co. Roscommon late on Wednesday night.
