A solution to the long running issues in relation to ‘one off’ planning permission in Leitrim could possibly be in the offering.
Ocean FM News understands that representatives of the EPA, Leitrim Council and officials from the Department of State with responsibility for Local Government and Planning will meet on Monday next to discuss the issue.
It’s also understood that the Minister with responsibility for Local Government and Planning, Peter Burke will also meet with Leitrim Councillors in relation to their concern over the matter.
Cllr Sean McDermott is the chairperson of the Manorhamilton MD of Leitrim Council he says it encouraging to see some developments taking place.
