Donegal’s All-Ireland winning goalkeeper Paul Durcan has been added to Tony McEntee’s Sligo management team for 2021.
He will be the squad’s goalkeeping coach next season.
Durcan, who now lives in Sligo, currently plays his club football with Drumcliffe/Rosses Point.
He helped the north Sligo club reach its first ever senior club championship final in September, which they lost narrowly to five-in-a-row winners Tourlestrane
Durcan has also been part of Declan Bonner’s senior county squad, as reserve keeper to Shaun Patton.
Sligo GAA has also confirmed that Padraig Clancy will the the senior squad’s kitman in 2021. The St Michael’s native managed St Pats Dromahair in Leitrim to a intermediate championship semi-final appearance earlier this year.
