There’s good news for Sligo on the jobs front this morning.
Software firm SL Controls is to create 50 jobs over the next 18 months.
The Sligo based engineering company will base 15 of the new jobs at their headquarters in Sligo.
All of the new jobs will be in Ireland, but the company will also be hiring in the United States where it continues to expand its presence.
SL Controls were established in 2002 and provides a range of solutions to companies across a number of industries including medtech, pharma, healthcare and technology.
The company said it will offer all its staff – both existing and new – the opportunity, when restrictions allow, to work remotely or in the office – or a hybrid of both.
SL Controls has offices in Sligo, Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Florida and has customers – mainly multinationals – in Ireland, across Europe and the US.
Keith Moran is the company CEO, He says they are looking to expand their operations in Ireland and in the US.
