Sligo City Firefighters are currently dealing with a fire in the old Summerhill College in the town this evening. Gardaí are also at the scene.
Gardai say they are concerned that motorists are stopping to look while passing, and this may lead to traffic collisions.
They have appealed to the public to stay away from the area until the situation is under control
