Two west Sligo councillors are calling for the zoning of former IDA land at Easkey to be changed from ‘industrial’ to ‘tourism and recreation’ so as to allow the development of glamping accommodation.
The call is being made by Independent councillors Michael Clarke and Joe Queenan.
Cllr Clarke says changing the zoning would help provide more facilities for what is expected to be the growing staycation market.
