Special Olympics Champion, Joseph Cullen left Sligo University Hospital yesterday to a round of applause after 114 days post Covid.
The Olympian from Strandhill won Gold in the 100m Medley at the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens.
He also finished 5th in both the 4 x 50m relay and 100m freestyle.
Sligo Rovers dedicated their 2-1 victory over Finn Harps yesterday to ‘Joseph’s determination.’
