Sligo based company, SL Controls has been acquired by a Danish IT company.
The value of the deal is €16.9m; NNIT is one of Denmarks largest IT operators with more than 3,000 employees worldwide.
Current staff and management will remain in place.
In March of this year, SL Controls committed to the creation of 50 new jobs over the next 18 months which CEO and Co-Founder, Keith Moran says they are committed to pursuing.
Speaking to OceanFM News, he says the company will now be able to serve customers globally.
