Taoiseach Micheál Martin should quit as Fianna Fáil leader during the Dáil’s summer break, according to a Sligo/Leitrim TD.
Marc MacSharry’s call comes after the party got less than 5 per cent in this week’s Dublin Bay South by-election.
He says the parliamentary party should meet, in-person, over the next week to deal with the issue.
Deputy MacSharry outlined when he wants the Taoiseach to resign.
