A Sligo Nurse has won an employee award for ‘Exceeding Expectations’.
Majella O’Donnell, Clinical Nurse Specialist in Dementia, won the “Exceeding Expectations – Outstanding Employee category” in the Healthcare Excellence Awards 2021.
She works as a clinical nurse specialist in dementia on the integrated care team of the older person in Sligo taking up the post in 2017
Majella said, she was ‘truly honored’ to have been considered for the award further stating the awards are representative of all the hard work of health care workers throughout the health service
