Sligo/Leitrim TD and Minister of State at the Department of Health, Frank Feighan, says the issue at Sligo Airport in relation to the Search and Rescue base has been resolved to ‘all party’s satisfaction.’
He says discussions have been held between Sligo Airport and CHC Ireland for the continued operation of the base and ‘understands an agreement has been reached.’
Speaking to OceanFM News, Minister Feighan says this is a ‘step in the right direction.’
