Gardaí in Ballyshannon have confirmed that the N 15 between Ballyshannon and Donegal Town remains closed at Laghy this morning following as a serious road traffic collision.
The collision between a lorry and a car occurred at Coxton near Laghy on the N15 Northbound, shortly after 4pm yesterday.
The driver, (a woman in her 40s) of the car and the front seat passenger (a male teen) were taken to Sligo University Hospital where they are continuing to receive treatment for serious injuries.
The road remains closed this morning, with diversions in place and a technical examination will be carried out shortly.

Diversions are currently in place at Ballintra and Laghy.
The road is expected to remain closed until this afternoon.
