A Donegal TD is calling for the Northern Ireland Assembly Elections to be brought forward.
The calls were made after the decision by the North’s First Minister to resign.
After only 8 months in the role the DUP’s Paul Givan’s stood down in protest over the Northern Ireland protocol.
Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill is automatically removed from her post as a result.
