The CEO of the Irish Fish Producers Association is hopeful that the recent visit of a delegation of representatives from the fishing industry in Ireland has helped to highlight the plight of Irish Fishermen in Europe.
Sligo MEP Chris MacManus and Donegal TD Padraig MacLochlainn hosted the Delegation in Brussels where calls were made at the EU Parliament for Ireland’s fleet to be allocated a fair share of the fish caught in Irish waters.
