The final Mica redress scheme has been approved by Cabinet and will cost around 2-point-7 billion euro.
Clare and Limerick homeowners have been added to the plan as well as affected homes in Mayo and Donegal.
100 percent redress will be given to homeowners to a maximum value of 420 thousand euro, which includes 25,000 euro for alternative accommodation while works are being carried out.
Around 7,000 homes in Donegal and Mayo are affected by the crumbling blocks.
