A Sligo Councillor is calling for a review on some criteria as it relates to one-off rural houses.
Currently, under planning permission conditions the area between the new front boundary wall and the edge of the public road should be cleared, levelled and surfaced to a suitable standard to the satisfaction of the planning authority.
However, it’s understood that Sligo County Council is currently not a position to carry out the maintenance work and is advising people to leave it covered in gravel.
