The EJ Sligo All-Stars summer recruitment ahead of the new basketball superleague season continues with Andy McGeever joining the roster from IT Carlow.
Donegal native McGeever is a shooting guard who already has previous Superleague experience with Dublin side Killester.
He played for Killester from 2016 to 2019.
He also previously played with Letterkenny and Carlow in the men’s first division.
McGeever worked in 2021 as a community development officer for Basketball Ireland in county Meath.
He was part of the Ireland Under-18 men’s coaching staff, and has also been involved in coaching at Basketball Ireland National Camps in recent years.
He is currently assistant coach to the women’s national under-20 team.
