Boyle GAA Club are celebrating a first-ever Division 1 senior football league title in Roscommon, following Sunday’s 0-16 to 0-13 victory over Western Gaels at Davona Park in Ballinameen.
It was the north Roscommon club’s first time to lift the O’Rourke Cup.
Boyle Army Barracks won the league title back in 1928, but was the fist top tier senior league title for the local GAA club.
