The Sligo Leitrim area has been described as not even at the races when it comes to getting a fair share of IDA jobs.
Speaking in the Dail during the motion on confidence last night, Independent TD Marian Harkin also claimed that virtually nobody in Co. Leitrim is being permitted to build one off housing.
The Government comfortably won the vote with TDs voting 85 to 66 in favour of the coalition.
Independents Marian Harkin and Thomas Pringle voted against the Government.
