Legislation on the Mica redress scheme is being debated in the Seanad.
It’s one of a number of laws being considered by the Upper House on the final day before the summer recess.
A vote on the scheme in the Dail, resulted in Fine Gael and Donegal TD Joe McHugh losing the party whip and prompted Sinn Fein’s motion of no-confidence in the Government.
