Aodh Ruadh women’s gaelic footballers are celebrating a Donegal Kernan Group Division 2 league title following Sunday’s 2-14 to 1-9 victory over Downings in Lifford.
The Ballyshannon girls led by just a point at the interval (1-6 to 1-5) but they eventually pulled clear in the second-half to win by eight points in the end.
The match was a personal triumph for Eimear McMahon who scored 1-11 of the Aodh Ruadh total.
Dungloe claimed the Division 3 title with a 3-12 to 1-4 win against Urris.
