A south Donegal County Councillor says he is delighted by the tireless work carried out today as a response to a major water outage has hit the area in the height of summer.
A significant number of homes and businesses were without water for most of the day in Bundoran and its surrounding areas.
The crews who began work in the early hours of this morning and have now completed repairs to the burst water main with water being returned to the affected homes at 3.30pm.
Speaking to Oceanfm news, local Cllr Michael Mc Mahon commended the response carried out by Donegal county council and Irish water:
