A Sligo Leitrim TD believes that the Government retrofitting scheme is not working.
A Sinn Fein motion was debated in the Dail last night, calling for a significant increase in the retrofitting budget for 2023, and to target that funding at the poorest, coldest, and most carbon intensive homes.

The debate comes ahead of the party's Alternative Budget, which will be launched on Friday.
Speaking in the Dail Deputy Martin Kenny says there are a significant number of people in the Sligo Leitrim area who want to carry out this work to their homes but are having difficulty accessing the scheme and that must be addressed:
