Health Minister Stephen Donnelly is facing increasing pressure to address issues facing Sligo University Hospital.
It’s after the INMO last week called for an urgent inspection of the facility by the Health and Safety Authority over what has been described as serious safety issues for both patients and staff.
The matter was also raised at the latest sitting of Sligo County Council where it was agreed to write to the Health Minister outlining the grave concerns locally.
