Letterkenny University Hospital is the most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today.
There are currently 64 people on trolleys there today, 24 of which are in the emergency department.
Meanwhile, in Sligo University Hospital, there are 34 people waiting for a bed, making it the fifth most overcrowded hospital in the country today.
Nationwide, there are 495 admitted patients on trolleys around the country today. 400 of those waiting are in emergency departments, with 28 children amongst them.
