Following the passing of County Sligo’s Budget for the upcoming year, progress on the Master Plan for Sligo Harbour is among the highlights.
The development of the area is one of many items included in the €73.7 million budget for 2023.
The project is set to go to tender in the coming months.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Councillor Thomas Walsh underlined the potential the Harbour has, and acknowledged the impact that this will have on the wider region going forward:
