There are calls for what’s been described as ‘disappointing’ waiting times at Sligo University Hospital to be addressed.
Figures show that almost half of patients presenting to the hospital have to wait several hours before they are seen.
It had led to major concern particularly for the older age cohort attending the Emergency Department.
