St Eunan's clubman Fergus McGee was elected as Donegal GAA's new Chairman at Wednesday night's Annual Convention in Letterkenny.
McGee edged past Buncrana's Paul McGonigle in a closely-fought contest by 87 votes to 77.
He succeeds Ballyshannon's Mick McGrath who stood down after five years in the role.
He will continue to sit on the county executive as Children's Officer.
Fiona Shiels (Fanad Gaels) was elected as the county's new PRO - taking over from Bundoran's John McEniff who steps down after four years in that post.
The end-of-year accounts presented to Convention revealed an operating loss for 2022 of €133,063 for the last 12 months.
Total income for the year showed a substantial increase from €1,080,987 in 2021 to €1,593,080 this year.
However, the expenditure in 2022 was almost double that of 2021, jumping from €761,262 last year to €1,726,143 this year.
Two motions on the night generated considerable debate.
A Killybegs proposal to amend the 'first club' boundary rule for a player to enable him to play for the club of his parents or grandparents received 54% of the vote, just short of the 60% required for the motion to carry.
Ardara's motion to allow Donegal revert to even age groups for underage football and hurling (U18/U16 etc) was passed with strong support for the minor age grade to revert to under-18.
This will be the mandate which the county will take to Central Council and Annual Congress in the New Year.
