Sligo Leitrim Southern Hotel Super League leaders MCR made it 13 wins from 13 matches on Sunday with a 2-1 win at home to Strand Celtic to extend their lead over title rivals Carbury and Cartron United to 13 points.
Goals from Bradley Fowley and Ciaran Harvey gave MCR all three points.
They have yet to drop a single point in the Super league this season.
However, MCR manager Gary Funston says it’s still to early to be talking about titles.
He spoke to Ocean FM Sport’s Dónal Ryan after Sunday’s win.
