The FAI has confirmed that there will be no increase in prizemoney for the men’s and women’s League of Ireland this season.
The winners of the men’s Premier Division will receive €125,000 while the women’s Premier Division champions will receive €12,000.
The FAI says the prizemoney, which totals €630,000 this year, has increased by 30 percent since 2019 – but for the past two seasons, there’s been no increase.
Below is a rundown of the prizemoney for the three main leagues – the men’s Premier Division, First Division and the women’s Premier Division for the 2023 season:
