A Sligo councillor has insisted the Council are going down the correct avenues to solve a flooding problem at Lough na Súil.
The road – which stretches between Conway’s Cross and Heapstown – was blocked once again by lake water spilling out on to the road, causing inconvenience to local residents and farmers.
Although this is not the first time this has happened, Cllr Gerard Mullaney has said that although it may take some time, the council is looking for the correct solution to ensure the problem is put to bed:
