Sligo senior club football champions Tourlestrane have confirmed the re-appointment of Roscommon’s Fergal O’Donnell for the 2023 season.
He’s re-appointment was ratified at the south Sligo club’s AGM last weekend.
In his first year in charge (last year), O’Donnell guided Tourlestrane to a seventh consecutive senior football title – a record for the county.
They also reached the Connacht club football champoinship final, only to lose to eventual winners Moycullen of Galway.
Now, O’Donnell agreed to stay on to lead Tourlestrane’s bid for an eighth in a row.
Neil Egan has been re-appointed as the club’s senior women’s team manager for the year.
