Sligo secondary schools are celebrating Connacht Colleges gaelic football titles after memorable final victories at the province’s GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan on Saturday.
Summerhill came from four points down at half-time to beat opponents Claregalway by four points (0-16 to 1-9) in the Connacht A final.
Earlier, joint team captain Dylan McLoughlin scored the match-winning point from full-back for St Attracta’s in the last move of the match to give the south Sligo school a dramatic one-point win over Roscommon CBS in the ‘B’ decider.
