All-Ireland colleges semi-final line-up finalised

The line-up for this year’s All-Ireland Post Primary Schools senior ‘A’ football semi-finals is now known following the weekend’s provincial finals.

After their memorable 0-16 to 1-9 win over Claregalway on Saturday, new Connacht champions Summerhill College (Sligo) will now face St Brendan’s College of Killarney in the All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday, February 25th.

The venue and time have still to be confirmed.

St Brendan’s, known as ‘The Sem’, retained their Munster title at the weekend with a 1-12 to 1-4 win over St Francis College, Rochestown of Cork.

On the other side of the draw, new Ulster MacRory Cup winners, Omagh CBS, will take on Naas CBS (Kildare) in the second semi-final.

Omagh beat Holy Trinty of Cookstown in Sunday’s Ulster Colleges decider at Healy Park by 0-16 to 1-6 – while Naas retained their Leinster title with a 0-11 to 0-9 victory over Moate CS, which is their fourth provincial crown in five seasons.
