Donegal’s Seamus Coleman is set to make his 400th appearance for Everton on Monday night when he leads his side out at Anfield in the Merseyside Derby against Liverpool (Kick-off: 8pm).
Coleman joined Everton from Sligo Rovers in January of 2009 for a fee of £60,000 sterling.
Bar half a season on loan at Blackpool in 2010, he has been an ever-present at Goodison Park
Coleman ha also s been a senior international for the Republic of Ireland since 2011.
Now 34 years of age, he is currently in the final months of what could be his last Everton contract.
Monday’s Irish Times Sports Supplement paid a special tribute to Coleman’s longeivty in the Premier League and the values his career has embodied.

Everton are in a battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League – and are currently third from bottom in the table.
Monday’s game at Anfield kicks off at 8pm.
