Donegal Town’s Jack Keaney and Carndonagh’s Michael Gallagher were part the UCD soccer team which retained the Collingwood Cup for 2023 following Wednesday’s 3-2 win over University of Limerick in the final of third level soccer’s premier competition, played at Inver Park in Larne.
Keaney, the team skipper, lifted the trophy for the second consecutive season.
Keaney’s fine pass in the 93rd minute of this final set up UCD’s Ronan Cowhey’s to head home the winning goal and give the Dublin students their 48th Collingwood Cup success.
