Sligo recorded a dramatic 13-12 win over Wanderers in Saturday’s Energia All-Ireland League Division 2B game at Hamilton Park in Strandhill.
Finn Bamber scored two tries as Sligo came from behind in this game, with Euan Brown kicking the decisive penalty for the home team in the closing stages.
The win was Sligo’s sixth of the season and moves Paddy Pearson’s side above Wanderers in the Div 2B table and onto 29 points in sixth place.
The game was also a personal landmark for centre Ryan Feehily as he made his 100th senior appearance for Sligo on Saturday.
Leaders Greystones kept up their 100 per cent record at the top of the table, beating Rainey Old Boys 19-14 to make it 13 league wins out of 13 to date.
