A Leitrim Councillor is calling for support to be provided to clubs and voluntary organisations in helping to secure alternative ways of generating electricity.
Manorhamilton Municipal District Councillor Felim Gurn is warning that with the rising costs of electricity in the last year, sports clubs throughout the county are being hit hard trying to keep the lights on for training pitches, astro turfs and tennis clubs.
