Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked to assist a vessel that had gotten into difficulty near the harbour yesterday.
The alarm was raised at 9.40am with the team attending a 75 meter vessel which was taking water on board via the hull.
The team went aboard the vessel with a salvage water pump and commenced pumping.
The equipment was successful in reducing the water level to a point that the hole could be inspected.
Divers were able to stop the flow of water from outside the hull and the team was stood down at 7pm.
