A Leitrim Councillor says the suggestion from the Rural Independents Group which calls for log cabins to be exempt from planning permission is fundamentally flawed.
The call was put forward in an attempt to help ease the housing crisis with Deputy Mattie McGrath, claiming cabins could be used as a temporary measure.
