Mask wearing to end in Hospitals on April 19th

The universal wearing of face masks in Hospitals such as Sligo University Hospital and Letterkenny University Hospital  could be about to come to an end on April 19th.

New guidelines from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre means that staff, patients and visitors will no longer need to wear face coverings at acute hospitals.

However according to the Irish Independent, it does recommend their continued use in certain settings, while ultimately it’s up to individual hospitals to decide if they want to continue with their universal use.
