A Donegal TD is this morning slamming the Government plans to phase out the reduced excise rate on petrol and diesel.
Already the Rural Independent TDs are planning to block the move, as it would take hundreds of millions of euro from Irish motorists.
Independent Donegal TD, Thomas Pringle says the move will once again disproportionally impact rural drivers and that motorists will be witnessing even higher prices at the pumps than what they faced before the excise rates were reduced.
