A Donegal Sinn Féin TD has called for Deputy Niall Collins to be held to account following an alleged property purchase.
The Fianna Fáil Minister has responded to a series of stories published by The Ditch, which claim his wife purchased property sold by Limerick County Council.
In a statement, Minister Collins said he was not a member of the council when the sale took place and says the process was transparent.
Speaking in the Dáil today, Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn said Deputy Collins should make a statement before the house on the issue.
