A disappointing Sligo Rovers performance at the Showgrounds on Saturday night saw them slump to a 3-0 home defeat against Damien Duff’s Shelbourne in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division.
A Jack Moylan hat-trick gave the Dubliners all three points on a night when the bit o’red were decidedly off colour.
The victory takes Shels above Rovers in the table.
John Russell’s side are now fourth from bottom on 19 points.
The Rovers manager described the result as “our worst performance of the season so far”
